Since, you are new, i will expect you probably need to spend sometime studying the markets, and that is a full time time on its own...literally speaking.....My one cent!

Although my career is a huge part of my life, I want to start building wealth so I can spend more time with my wife and kids, and spend a bit more time at home.

My initial thoughts when I'm looking to spend money on these types of changes are1.

If I spend $12,000 I have a 50/50 chance of speaking to 30-40 people?

I'm far from naive in this business, I know that compliance is a business decision, weighing the risks versus making money and I know that newbies are really interested in making money, not spending months going over rules, regulations and laws (which is why I'm here, to inform). 

Have been spending time reading up about this field and listening to podcasts. 

I don't want to say the most evil 4 letter word, S-N-O-W.... but it's the time of year to hire our snow removal company.Last year the one I used no longer did my area so I was scrambling for anyone.  

Remember that's finished if you have to spend $100k to get it build able take that off the top.

So I guess is it worth to save 1k or spend pay that to have more freedom.
