Thank you for the reply, and just to answer your questions: "...when you say rental income - do you mean living in the house while you do renovations and house hacking" - I will be living in the home and trying to rent out the other two rooms after major renovations are finished.

I needed a straight solid answer and there it is.

I think the answer is purely in the numbers.

It will answer most of your questions including those you don’t even know you had.

Again, that part of your post is tough to answer without specifics.
