Bedroom is remodeled except for the floor has been ripped up and yet again just the plywood looking sub-floor remains.Basement has foundation cracks but I hired a professional structural engineer and the report says the house is not in any foundational trouble but gave suggestions to install carbon fiber strips as a preventive measure for the long term health of the building.I have about a week or so to get into the property and get the unit up to a FHA appraiser's standards.

I would get info on the following to help your agent with the search:- 3 to 5 year claims history of the property from the current owner- when there have been updates to the roof, plumbing, heating, electrical- whether or not the tentants have pets (specifically what breed if dogs)- who handles the upkeep (ie. property manager, owner, tenants, etc.)- what alarms (burglar, fire, smoke, CO, etc..) are in place and what other safety features (extinguishers, fire doors, emergency lights, video survelliance, etc.) that are presentThis type of info needs to be gotten from the current owner or property manager and they are more likely to get it for you when you are a potential buyer than after.
