Hey there, So currently work as an apprentice carpenter for a custom cabinetry and furniture shop in the South Bay.

Our place is neat and clean with really nice shelving space, new kitchen and windows, etc. but we really do not have the best taste on other furniture and interior designing.

Often times it is trash and I just bring it to work the night before the dumpster gets emptied and load up our dumpster... on the flip side I have gotten some super high end pieces of furniture for my house this way.

My day job is in finance, but my passion is anything outdoors and ...real estate.I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here and eventually, hopefully contributing as well!

Are they scratch resistant to moving furniture etc?

I really feel for guys/gals whom have to work outdoor to earn their living in Houston or places like that with high humidity.OC, California has its pros and cons, but as a contractor, there are ssooo much work here, and the fees are very well paid.   

Place your vehicles, furniture, jewelry, other personal property and even your check books into personal property trusts. 

The hardest part was finding furniture and modernizing the unit, while also giving it nice touches.

All of that is factored into prior and current expenses.New metal roof, new water and pool heaters, new furniture and TV's, etc.

Also, I've seen people push their upholstered furniture right up against electric baseboard heaters and then crank them up to 90 degrees because the lack of air flow makes it take forever to heat up the area.
