I have one property I have a PM renting for me in another state and that is the extent of my REI experiences.So, after reading a recent success story, I decided I would drive around town during some free time I had to see if there were any homes that appeared to be vacant. 

I recently left my corporate America job to pursue my passion for real estate.I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and was surrounded by real estate investing my entire life.  

Integra notes that the high wage earners in the tech sector are driving the persistent demand.

All my tenants (25 of them) know where I live and they see me at the grocery store and they wave when I drive by them on the street.

You shouldn't work in Cobb County, I hear its terrible there and there's no deals...in fact, I hear anybody who works there gets horribly diseased and their wives leave them.On a serious note, I like to hire guys that aren't driving forever to get on site, but most GC's in Atlanta are used to driving across town, so they really dont have to be local to Cobb by a long shot.

The only thing that I can think of is that I'm going to have to drive to her in order to get the contracts signed.

Do some learning and your own research and you will find places they aren't or have missed and you can profit from them.It's easy to get discouraged so be sure to surround yourself with like minded folks who can encourage you and vise versa.

Successful people are separated from the rest by their drive to succeed at all costs.  

One of the things I do to figure out if a neighborhood is worth a drive through is to look on Google Earth to see if there are pools in backyards.
