I can search for the applicants by name and find criminal cases, civil cases, evictions, even traffic tickets.

My theory is that some percentage of the ones that say they will do criminal checks won't, either they don't know how, they forget, etc.

Great credit score, no evictions, no criminal records, etc.

Hello, new to this website, I had a question, how often do you guys rent to criminals?

I used TransUnion SmartMove to do a background/criminal/eviction check.

My offices use National Tenant Network (NTN) to run credit and criminal background checks (we only have them run the criminal if they meet the credit criteria).

I use the "Tenant Score with Criminal" package which includes everything from their renting history to a criminal background search.

Criminal Background Check (including checking for evictions and previous lawsuits they've filed)4.

(no offense)BTW, after doing a quick search, I see there are several homes listed under $40k...not bad for cash-flow if you say they rent for $400-$600/week and you have a 50%-95% occupancy rate.
