Hi Lara,In theory, everything is possible but, if you want to do that, you'd first have to check whether it's legal.Legal or not though, I don't think it makes much sense for a variety of reasons.

They would most likely use your liquid assets (cash, stocks, retirement account) to qualify to make sure you have enough for downpayment + closing costs.
