I was looking to dispel some of my mental blocks especially in areas with strong fundamentals.

On one side it is a multifamily duplex that is about 3 blocks off the lake (Lake Michigan) in a pretty nice neighborhood.

However, Calendars can be misleading, some hosts block a day or two on either end of a booking, and sometimes my family uses our cottage for a month so I might block an entire month at a time.

If they touch, you just need to block the small gaps with felt or foam backer rod or temporary seasonal sealant. 

I know Detroit, like most metros, have areas/blocks that are hotter/better investments than others.
