Does anyone know how long it generally takes before insurance companies get back to writing policies?

Many companies put coastal restrictions on Homeowners, Dwelling Fire policies and commercial property based on proximity to the coast. 

If you structure it properly you’ll have more cash value than you paid into the policy.
