Sure you can call past landlords but most go back at least 2 deep as the current ones might have gave a good review to get rid of them.It's kind of like analyzing buying a business where a restaurant seller says see I opened up and I was doing 15,000 a week sales and with a little bit of work you can do much better than me.

If you were opening up a restaurant, you would run the numbers based on you overseeing all operations (of course you'd have managers but probably not to the extent of overseeing all aspects of the business).
