If not, after giving warnings, I'd give them notice, and negotiate them out.

Normally, you need to give written warnings first and give the tenant the opportunity to comply before evicting.

It's awful and I do think tenants should be warned of scheduled construction. 

Normally, I give a warning when completing such things and let them know that all future actions will cost a fee.

This warning also applies to those contracts that are proffered by insurance consultants who scan available rentals to find housing for people who burn their house down and need a place to live while being rehabbed. 

If they make too much noise, you can give warnings and then kick them out.  3 day notice to quit the noise or get kicked out.
