@Jamila ThompsonI think you can gain experience in multiple ways1) reading books2) browsing the forums3) Analyzing deals4) going to open houses5) going to networking eventsThere may be investors who are willing to teach for free but there are also investors who value time and want some trade off before they teach/mentor/train you.Obtaining a skill that an investor would find useful would be a good bargaining chip.

While it takes 4 years to obtain a bachelors degree in real estate, a real estate license can be knocked out in a matter of weeks or months and will teach you the majority of the same things as the degree would.

Hey thanks Aaron.It is a condo yes, I was looking at it from a learning stand point having something that is still profitable yet teaching me as well.A side note here (if I proceed with this) I will be putting a lump sum down again in a years time.
