I am pretty new to r.e investing as well and learned a great amount of info from these meetings.

It's pretty silly but it's just how it is. 

So, I'm still expecting a June rent check and my renters normally pay pretty early (28th or 29th of month preceding), but the rent check doesn't show up. 

I'm pretty sure this will be a problem with the lender.

(Doesn't mean they are bad people)Its not my thing,   but that much would buy you a pretty substantial portfolio in other parts of the country.  

At the end of the day, your appraiser is merely comparing your property to the recent solds in the area... and that's pretty much it.

Pretty much a seasonal rental location but also some good annual renter opportunities.

I would say the process is pretty simple, but not necessarily easy.

That being said I have pretty much narrowed down on the Indy market.
