Recommendations asides, what are you objective thoughts on real estate syndication? 

I would like to develop the property with the main objective of providing some more affordable housing in my area while providing me with a moderate passive income through long term rentals.

However, I would need to know who your niche audience is, your overall objectives as well as your pain points.

I see this overlay actually devaluing the area since it is objectively no longer "up and coming."

To get more to your point, I think most appraisers attempt to meet the objective of parties involved, even though they may be independent of both of them.

Here's how you do that:If your objective is to attract buyers, writing an ad that says BUY THIS HOME is a terrible way to waste money.

Just concerns me a bit that they have it in writing to a degree where they could hold you hostage.
