We've been having the owner or the tenants send us pictures and videos and so far it's worked fine.

The challenge is getting inside occupied properties, we're asking for pictures and videos and then making our offer.  

The video you linked goes out to my residential client base - for investors this one from last year is probably more interesting. 

Ann Crosby, well, it's really pretty simple to start, and yes - there are plenty videos with teaching courses "how to start".

What can I see in person the listings and video walk thru can't show me. 

I am looking tolearn as much as I can as I am constantly watching YouTube videos,listening to podcast, and always reading!

@Matt Bailey Here is a helpful YouTube video that I found that talked about estimating repair costs via the square foot.

His video on his social media only asks for 90 days of forbearance for homeowners. 

I would recommend starting to build some knowledge by reading and watching videos here on biggerpockets, YouTube and other media avenues.

If you can find videos of a realtor you're considering watch them to see if they're someone you'd like to work with.My realtor in Columbia, MO had pretty much zero reviews but I happened on him through a listing for a property.
