You have some very lofty goals for this duplex and you might be moving too fast here.First, does the rent-o-meter numbers match what you are seeing advertised on craig's list for comparable units for rent?

Even if the pavers/bricks are not a perfect match to the original ones, they can be integrated into the new one-either to look like a mat in front of the door or simply mixing the two sets of bricks together.

It seems like your place may not be a good match for them.
