San Antonio is a great market for smart STR investors and I own a local STR management company.

I would call up 3-5 property management companies and see what they would set rent at and why.

The software guidance for QBI without safe harbor says the below which I meet all three in that I manage the property, it is profitable and in USA. 

Noone as a property manager lists on the mls for rentals. 

I would love to know if there are any groups, clubs or events in the area for investors both residential and commercial and if there are any companies with apprenticeships for investors, property managers or project managers.

If you- own a short term rental in your name- have a mortgage on that property - self manage Do you still create a LLC to manage your rental business or do you manage it under your name and then file income and expenses as part of your tax filing?

I mostly prefer LTRs, easier to manage and scale.

How did you manage the repairs from CA?

Hi Everyone,I used MYND Property management for my rental, and I'm firing MYND because they did a horrible job managing my property.

I am also trying to establish my team, I have a good realtor who is sending me properties, I was connected to a lender but I am open to suggestions/ recommendations for lenders, property managers, project manager (is this common?)
