So the two can have aspects of each....While I think it was written from the Contractor's perspective, I really like "The Contractor's Legal Kit" by Gary Ransone (but you may have to get it used, mine is old).

That may solve the double taxation issue, although there may be one o more flies in that ointment.From a US tax perspective, at least when I reasearched it in 2009/10, there were higher tax rates for corporate income than for personal income, both for rental income and for capital gains.

I think the thought process from the lenders perspective is that it's available credit in your name and although you may currently have a minimum payment of 0, that certainly can change.
