Being part of this community and meeting the startups that keep popping up around it, I'm looking at some really exciting opportunities for real estate development supporting digital nomads.  

Couple years doing this now, I've got rentals that pay my bills, flip a few houses a year cause i dig it (and big checks!) 

I know that one statistic or article never encompasses the whole picture but thought this was interesting nonetheless - http://www.5280.com/dwell/real-estate/digital/2016...I have personally seen clients leave the area in the last year but those had more to do with moving back closer to family to get help with the kids than it did with the fact that they could buy a huge house back in the Midwest for what we sold their home for here.

Every time I model out a multifamily in various neighborhoods its either negative cash flow or a low single digit cap rate.

The world moves in digital dollars, credit, and access.

You guys are so doom and gloom, come on man, the fed (that caused all this btw) is going to save EVERYONE, Banks, credit unions, trust and mortgage companies, investment banks, underwriters, brokerage firms, hard money lenders, stock speculators, the airline, auto, restaurant,hotel, bar, retail, casino, and travel industries,money market funds, the repo market, the global fx market, the stock market (direct purchases soon), the bond market, the derivatives market (oop's sorry ronin capital), consumer spending (helicopter money only 3 weeks away), your local bowling league and oh yea, air bnb.Don't worry the largest financial event of our lifetimes, BY FAR, will be over in a jiff and you will be rested and ready to get back to work!

Most of My properties (all in the market I’m expanding into more) have had double digit forced appreciation double digit market appreciation.

But I see other seniors in my building with gambling problems (lots of Indian casinos around here), who smoke cigarettes and/or pot, who spend their money at the local bar, going out to eat, buying new clothes, etc.
