International investing when starting out? Good idea?

Hi everyone!

My first post here :) Just as short intro and background: I currently live in Dublin, Ireland, but 2 years ago I was living in Canada, before that in the Netherlands, and I'm originally from Sweden. In other words it's a bit scattered and at the moment I don't stay too long in one country.

My main question is if anyone here who has been in a similar situation? Did you get started in one country and then ended up with a portfolio across countries? Or is it better to settle down a bit before getting into real estate?

Any insights, experiences, or ideas regarding this would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
