Should you personally give a **** about this guy's decision? 

This means the next month, I will probably miss another rent check and the eviction process will be delayed.I would greatly appreciate any input you may have on how I should make this decision.

Two major factors contributed to our decision; The way COVID was affecting the market in Austin at the time we were ready to sell, and a very generous offer from our contractor to foot the bill for the remaining property repairs, since we remodeled the whole darn thing, with the idea we would pay him back after closing and would sell through a realtor he recommended.

Give me a quick pitch and my brain can do some quick processing and decision-making.  

We first went with sell and put the house on the market in the first week of August 2021. wo major factors contributed to our decision; COVID inflated values by crazy margins and our contractor offered to foot 12k of the repairs to make the property sell ready if we use his GF as realtor.

Thank you @Mike D'Arrigo, this was a difficult decision on my end but I ended up taking a position with a mortgage banker.

I'm not sure I could have pushed through the fear of such a huge financial decision if I wasn't working with a realtor that I knew and trusted.

At this point, our decision has been to issue a Non-renewal of lease notice with the idea to renovate and flip it.

If you aren’t comfortable making those decisions, then being a rental property owner may not be the right choice.

They are trying to protect people from bad decisions.
