Denver is an amazing place to network and attend educational events, however I often find myself in scheduling conflicts and definitely feel like I can not take full advantage of these opportunities.  

If I don’t hear from you in the next 10 minutes, I will assume you aren’t attending and I will move on to my next appointment.Using this system as dramatically reduced any wasted time I used to endure as part of the showing process as well as giving me data about their timeliness/responsiveness/respect for others' time.I'm  of the philosophy that showings are where you see your tenant on their best behavior.

I recommend that you attend local REI groups and participate in local (Cincinnati) forums by asking questions and helping others find useful resources like blogs, books, etc. that you've found helpful.

I have some questions..I learned everything I know about SF investing by reading a new REI book a week (sometimes 2), taking notes, going to 1-2 meetups a week locally in Houston, networking and learning from those in the SF game, attending free webinars, reading forums on places like BiggerPockets and watching YouTube.

I highly recommend regularly attending local real estate investing meetups in your area/area you want to invest in as well as sending direct messages to other local investors on bp and social media in that target market as well and tell them what you are looking to do and ask to hear their story :).

I will be attending sac state and I am currently looking for 4plex as well that will allow me to House hack.

I’ve been listening to 2-3 podcasts per week and attended some BP webinars to “sharpen my axe” as Brandon Turner likes to say.

There’s probably local REIA Group and other Real Estate Investor meetups that you can attend to network and meet the right people.
