I imagine that having a new building put in next door will raise the value of the properties around it.

That makes more sense, I couldn't imagine moving into a fixer upper within 2 months especially considering the fixer upper I'm thinking about purchasing.  

(and as I mentioned to someone on BP a while back looking to do a long distance rehab/flip in of all places, Shorewood-you just picked probably the toughest municipality in the metro area to do anything in and be prepared to be told to fix or change things you'd never imagine doing and spending $$$$ on that!)

I do not want my parents to get evicted, I will pour all the money I make from my side hustle to help my parents out, and when my software startup gets funded, I will probably take the minimal salary, but from that salary it will go to help out my parents and pay bills. 

I can not imagine what the rest of the work is to cost $225k. 

I snaked it, replaced the S-trap and poured acid down the drain to get everything else clear in the pipes.

I imagine this will have an impact on my ability to rent these homes.  

As you can imagine, some were excellent, some were average and a couple were asleep at the wheel.

Then comes to the email - due to a scheduling conflict, looks like we'll need to find someone else.If you've ever organized an event, you probably know what this feels like - panic sets in and you imagine standing in front of your audience, gulping and trying to explain "how unexpected events sometimes happen.."

This stuff, one would imagine is more prevalent on high cap rate properties.
