The $300k per acre for site work matches the ~$30,000 per unit I use in running early pro forma analysis as confirmed by competent GCs. 

@Rachel L. whatever mortgage amount you are retiring at closing needs to be matched (equal or greater) in your replacement property(ies).

@Kevin Leonce my experience is that the mortgage owners have to match the property owners. 

The new owner sued to have the fence moved, but instead of getting the fence moved, the ownership rights got changed to match the fence line. 

Good to know my senses are matching up with what others have seen and done in the area. 

I don't know the Florida market so I can't argue either way but the trends in housing types do not match this style of house.

Lowes and Home Depot can look them up and color match them easily.  

Some places offer 9  month leases but the rents are basically raised to match 12 months at a lower rate.
