Looking in the the $250-300k range.

While not a written rule  you or having your PM contact the tenants prior to you taking ownership or w/o the expresses consent of the owner, or doing a walkthrough etc....is seen as bad form.

If you can pickup a $250k house with an extra bedroom you maybe in the $2k rent range. 

Not to sure what options I have for that.4- the price range well, I talked to some loan officers and they mentioned I can get a 325000 ish house for about 2100 a month was kinda the ball park.

They are world wide, have a ton of support locally and across the country.

Any recommendations for specific or other nearby neighborhoods to dive deeper into within my price range (~250-300K)?

Most student rentals range anywhere from 650-800 a room, but given its Ucity you could potentially rent for even more per room.

What you describe is not dissimilar to what other C Class property owners have expressed to me.

He expressed interest in having his name as the loan borrower.
