So be diligent when putting together a scope and add in a contingency to make space for unforeseen issues. 

You placing these properties in an LLC makes the loans commercial, and probably based on area, asset value or other criteria it isn't in their commercial loan criteria.

Also, I think a newer building would make my life as a landlord a lot easier since I don't have much experience and wouldn't have to worry as much about stuff breaking down all the time.

And, according to their book, if you want to later evict them, having them prepay that much can make it difficult to do so.
