I think REI is the same way ... useful to think through the scenarios and use them to stress test and improve our strategies, but in the end don't fool ourselves into thinking we know the way things are going to go down in real life.

Also, I didn't want to stress about the kids running the AC with the windows open or setting up a backyard pool with city water, lol.
