Rehabbing the old wood windows with brass weatherstripping ( like the used to do back in the day), reglaze them and make sure they fit tight, or caulk in the ones that you don't care to have open.

Then, once you treat/fix the problem, you just need to take some basic steps to prevent them from coming back (i.e. eliminate any areas of wood-to-ground contact, address any moisture issues, etc).

None of them know much more than an original picture from 50 years ago must look the same as today. 2) If you do get approved, doing stuff on a period piece is usually more expensive or inefficient (eg one place had to keep single pane wood sash windows for look/feel which very few people make.

You could let them know this is happening and that the eviction could negatively affect their credit report and background check when they try and rent another place.Since your in CA the rules may work against you so best to verify your local requirements.Yes you can sell, but I doubt they cleanup and they may try and refuse to allow you in to show the house This would require you to sell sight unseen.
