Hello everybody.

I would really appreciate if someone can explain me, but a termites problem means (I mean: How much damage they could do, time, etc) and how much it cost to fix that.

Once solve, they can not came back?

I am investing in the Ohio area, any important differences?

Sorry! First time dealing with houses of Wood. :)

Best regards and thank you!!!

Hi @Daniel Fridrij, termites can be a big deal, but more normally they are not.  Typically once found and treated an annual inspection can be done and re-treatments can be done early into their repopulation if it happens.

However. . . often the damage lies under the surface and is difficult to assess.  My personal home had some termite damage, then it was treated, and about 20 years later I bought it.  Come to find out the treatment didn't happen until the termites ate the studs in the back half of the home.  So . . . off comes the sheetrock and up go new studs!

So, it's not always a small issue, but it usually is.  Have a termite inspection done, and then ask that company to quote or recommend a repair company (and make sure they guarantee their work)
