This house was just back to market, had open house yesterday, and got a low ball offer.

I showed up with a open mind, even though I had no intention on buying anything, even though I did want to hear the information.

Agreed big question is if you plan on occupying this property as that could open several doors for you.

Also, do I bring a locksmith with me to open the place up?

As for retirement, I earn a pension when I retire, I currently max out my deferred compensation plan (457b) with 18,500 a year and just recently opened up a Personal Roth IRA with intentions to max out with income made from loan origination but put it on hold until I can figure the best situation for what I am trying to accomplish.

One example I saw involved a broker talking about bids - and the lowest amount her client would accept - openly in the office.
