Most people wouldn't represent themselves in a court case with a multi-hundred thousand dollar issue on the line, so why would you do it in real estate?

@Alan Hall Alan,Be very careful investing in multi family in Memphis / Shelby county.

I have heard that a down payment on multi-family can be from sources other than your own. 

He's the guy to talk to....lots of good information and has videos that walk you through the entire process. 

So, I am a bit (Outraged....oooh that sounds to harsh) dismayed, that I am looking for great videos/articles to use on my FB Business page promoting using "Cash Buyer" option for a home sale.  

I'm still in the "Learning Phase" - picking up every book I can about real estate investing, listening to podcast/videos, and searching as much as I can for properties in the area to get an idea of the market.  

I was going to check around but if there is no chance anyone else could do 20 down on a multi family home, I suppose there is no use in trying. 

I saw the video of the 7 things a begginer should do and one of them was learn so that is currenrly were i stand.thanks, Matt

Hello fellow BiggerPockets members I'm not feeling completely confident in the numbers I ran on this multi family does anyone here have experience in multi family?

I want to purchase a multi fam home or duplex however nothing appealing is avail so far.
