And you would have lost the opportunity to lock in a 30 yr fixed rate.If you have maxed out the 10 Fannie loans per individual (if you are married, then hopefully you got 20 out of this), then you might want to look into 30 yr fixed residential portfolio loans.

If you were there for 2 years and had that type of gain, you should be able to get out without paying taxes (~$500K for a married couple).2) Talk to a few banks and see if you can get a line of credit on it.

The family members were all married and did not want the spouses of each partner to take over if one of the partners died.Our client owned several farms outside of the Chicagoland area which when purchased in 2005, at the peak of the market, having values in excess of 5,000,000.
