I'm eligible for a loan from Lending Club for $24k.

Didn't expect to start such heated debate.What about the lending aspect of my question though? 

I called the company yesterday and they told me that US BANK lend up to 70% for 15 or 20 years at 3 to 4% but they are very strict: no credit, clean account and stable income. 

I'm listening to podcast #29 about Peer-Peer Lending to fund real estate deals both rehab and buy & hold properties.

The private lending could finance only the down payment and the rest could come from a conventional loan, thought you may need to use a portfolio lender as some banks want you to have some skin in the game.

And I know of some institutional investors that have entered this space with similar rates.  

Has anyone had any luck finding banks who do portfolio lending in MI?

I currently work at GTRI (Georgia Tech Research Institute) and I want to do well in my work there so its sort of a  juggle of pushing toward my engineering career and my real estate career at the same time so really focusing on one thing will be a big help.As for now I'm focusing on getting through this pre-licensure course.

Hello Jason, I am an intern for a lending company and I would be interested in seeing some residential comps. 

No banks will consider lending to the LLC yet.
