It was jointly owned by my mother and grandmother. since my grand mother past away It is now owned buy my mother and me, but legally my mother has the whole thing in her name.

Their grand dad bought a whopping tract of land back in the 20s and they have become bazillionaires from that land.

Our gunsmith grand-father who found out what we were doing provided us with sleeve guns, worn on the forearms and fired with muscle action. each carried two 45 cal slugs.

So my handyman just did some staining, and saved ourselves a couple grand.

I drive a car that I will drive until it burns down to the ground, a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I would hate to lose the property over a few grand.

I ended up making a grand total of $277.30.However small this profit is, it's still a profit and I learned how to work through the foreclosure process in PA.What I would have different:1) Paid less for the note.

Been traveling.I do not feel this is some grand conspiracy. 

Let me show you a pretty reliable way to do this:Start with your 1000, go buy a pickup truck that does not run but has a good tranny, body  ( I say pickup because a LOT of folks that work need trucks...market is decent) Comp your area and find a medium average number of 4 grand for this truck WHEN IT RUNS. get it fixed for say 1-2k now you have up to 3k into it. but it sells for 4000, you now have 2000 to do things with right?
