Be sure to google the property address, I have come across sex offender tenants and news of big-time police drug raids by doing that.

the later here is complelty different then searching out something that going into it you are planning on holding for your lifetime like most will say ..

I have been looking around for a local group and have come across the Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association (CIREIA) from a number of searches. 

They don't give the phone number but if you Google the person and hunt around you can usually come up with a number.   

Just trying to get a feel for where I need to target my search.
