If you have the right personality for it and develop good criteria, marketing process, and relationships it can be a very rewarding experience.

Coming back through to inspect the property after the tenants had been there for a while, was so rewarding.

You will be handsomely rewarded later in life.

Crazy and expensive but with high risk comes high reward (and more often than not low maintenance headaches)In every market, there are deals.

@John Underwood   John is in your neck of the woods and from what I have gleaned from his posts these are deals he knows and understands maybe he would help you understand your risk/reward scenario here. 

The risk is not worth the reward.

So far, I am thinking it would be good to have:Stainless steel tub interior (supposed to be more durable)Hard food disposer  (to minimize potential repair calls in case they aren’t so good at scraping their plates)Sensor wash (for ease of use, so they don’t complain the thing doesn’t wash thoroughly if they are bad at picking the right setting)In particular, has anyone bought a dishwasher recently & could make a recommendation?  

One of the tenants wives has volunteered for food prep and cooking.
