Not much inventory and a lot of commercial property.University district is highly desirable near university of Detroit as well as Marygrove college.

Hello,I am new to this forum and i am reading lots and lots of good stuff about real estate investing here.Since i am new to real estate investing, so i am trying to buy my first rental property in good neighborhood area with good school district but still could not find any good deal.One of the real estate investor meeting i happened to meet another land lord who recommended commercial property for my first investment because i have pre-approved loan of upto $400K ( Because i don't have any other mortgage )Also he suggested this property : URL :https://www.box.com/s/9eff212e69a7b4883bbcSeems to be good deal for me.Would you recommend commercial property for new investor instead of SFH or Duplex or 3 Unit home ?

When you print an MLS report, it only gives the DISTRICT the property belongs to, it does not say which high school a potential home buyer will be assigned to if they purchase the property.

Neighbors can be a reason, improvements wanted and the other home is better suited, school districts can change (not in this case), kids moving out, maintenance requirements, etc.

Great neighborhood, near the best school district in the area.

For me, I prefer to look at homes outside of the IPS Indianapolis Public School District.

If he's changed his name there will be a court order granting the name change from a family district court or plain district court in a county without statutory family courts.

Orlando is also a city where school districts matter a lot.
