There are a multitude of other reasons that K&T is no longer acceptable.All that being said, I've witnessed loss of life and property due to the unskilled management and implementation of residential electrical systems and that has definitely affected my decisions.I didn't suggest you were selling your services here just that as a provider its common to expect responses that aren't taking into consideration what's best for the customer's interests.

Also, I'm not sure how your numbers work out..Take a look at my post here, being a real life example why selling CAN BE much more cost effective than re-renting your personal residence: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/48/topics/1169308-equit...I personally wouldn't have a rental with a pool because of the liability.As far as reinvestment, that depends on you strategy and goals.
