One of the best ways to find motivated sellers is by "knocking on doors" and "driving for dollars" and leaving/mailing hand-written notes and making notes for calls to talk to the people trying to FSBO's and rental signs and calling owners on vacant looking houses that are under maintained.Looking at county tax offices can provide you some ownership basic information on names, addresses, and possibly phone numbers and possibly a neighbor that has basic contact information.

Fellow BP friends,If I have an property address, what is the best way to find out the property owner and its contact (phone/owner mailing address/etc)I know the property is vacant and probably in distress but I cannot have a good way to find the owner.
