One gets the judgement, but tax collector collects that and all the other taxes due from the other entities.I'm in Texas so Florida could be completely different.

And the takeaway I got was exactly what *I* was arguing for...The takeaway I got was that it didn't matter what your profession (tax collector, prostitute, etc), what your status in life, or how many bad decisions you have made in the past, as long you as you attempt to live a good life and do what you think is right, you are worthy of being helped.The other takeaway is that appearances don't matter.

We are willing to offer fair market value, actually more than 2012 assessment, right now on the only 2 that work for us in the area we are looking, but they are both short sales as they paid way too much in the boom, and we are serious about buying one of them and shouldn't be prevented from that simply due to having to wait 90 days for one bank or negotiator to say yes or no while the other one is out there that should also have the chance to say yes or no but doesn't even know we're interested as we can't make the offer.
