Property Tax Increase on purchase
Hi BP,
So reading on BP I see some counties increase property tax based on purchase price while others don’t. Is there a quick way to find out which counties do this and which ones don’t? Is there a phrase or terminology that I should look out for? Is the best option just to call the tax collectors office and ask?

Hhhhmmm...... I think your last question answers the whole question. Hear it from the horses mouth, call the tax collectors office and ask.
