Family law and contract law are on two separate paths as it relates to the beginning and end points of the property/loan. 

That can lead to all kinds of moisture related problems.

Those are valid and great, but there is a lack of social education on the economic benefits of real estate outside of BP.

@Steven Lewis There are a couple concerning things with this one...the numbers aren't good across the board, but that's all relative.

The proper way to have it all done is a forensic engineered cost segregation study, but on a single small rental property the cost-benefit sometimes doesn't make sense.

Worse, if the market crashes now their best case scenario is they buy now for the same price they could have bought for then, but they missed out on the investment return and tax benefits in the mean time.The overall economy at large is pretty strong right now in many areas.
