Bed bugs become a habitability issue and your unit may no longer meet Section 8 standards.If you want to terminate this tenancy by refusing to participate in the S8, it may be viewed as discrimination on the basis of source of income.

Add a clause saying "Agreement subject to-partners approval"or"Agreement subject to 14 day inspection contingency"Say you are set to close in 30 days, you put one of those clauses so if you aren't getting bites on your contract, you can terminate it and get your emd.Sean Caligagan

I know some areas are very strict about this so I will say I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas metroplex which to my knowledge doesn't have any requirements for timeliness of renewal notifications (just 30 days if you are terminating the lease).

If you want them to move out within a month, check your state laws regrading "no cause evictions"/"termination without cause" for how much notice you need to give them (we require 90 days in Oregon!).
