Underwriting would find issue with you buying out of state if you did not work out of state, it would raise a red flag that you are possibly trying to use the FHA loan as an investment vehicle.

Do Certain areas have restrictions on square footage / size, architectural style, etc? 

Purchase price was great for the square footage.

My property is 2200 square feet (not including the basement).

Actually higher per square foot rent than our 10 x 20's.

Also "we need to move tomorrow" is a BIG red flag.

Is this shouting red flags all over it?
