I just like the copper stub out and in situations like a shower and tub combo or a balance loop for body spray I will use copper since it's more rigid and secured.

Many of our clients do leave Salt buckets and a broom/shovel at the property so they can request a designated resident for assistance if needed.   

Repairman have to be careful what they say to residents because they will take everything with a grain of salt.
