I'm not your lawyer and this is not legal advice, etc.Series LLCs are a great business form but they are still new and it's uncertain how courts will view them, especially courts in states that do not recognize domestic LLCs.

I don't take a completely dim view of advisors- I'd have a tough time of it trying to find someone with the education of an attorney and a CPA to do what they do for a few thousand dollars a year-- I just do it all with my eyes wide open recognizing that I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for.

Few states directly mention Series LLCs in their statutes, some others recognize series LLCs but don't have them written in their statutes, and some states likely will not recognize the separate liability of each LLC within the Series.
