After a few months he must of told his friend that the house was empty (and I was out of state) and gave then the key he stole.Apparently they've been there for 3 months or so and I was able to get her phone number and was trying to be nice and give her the chance to leave willingly before involving police/court.

Maybe I don't understand...

In my case it involves a lot of expensive equipment, knowledge of flambient photography, a mastering of Photoshop, and a lot of patience for processing multiple exposures plus flash for a single finished photo.

Furthermore, while we can't control the outcome of every investment (since this is investing after all), we certainly do our best to be involved as problem solvers when issues arise.

So any transactions where somebody I mentioned would be involved is usually prohibited.  

@Grant Stuard There's a lot of good advice here, but I think it is important to understand what kind of deals you've already invested in.

If you don't understand the reasons why, you shouldn't be near a subject to deal. 

I've come to understand in the past few years that with my current skills there is somewhat of a cap on my earning potential.

Those are the only facts I will share in this case and anything outside of that would be unprofessional.I can assure you the employees involved in trying to help are good people that were doing their best to try and help solve the problem and didn't have any malicious intent.
