Pardon my humor :D The most favorable neighborhoods to invest in SD in southern SD & Southbay would include Linda Vista / Clairemont, Specifically sherman heights w/i the logan heights triangle, and Chula Vista (mainly 91910 and 91911).

David, Pull the deed, the deed will specify the restrictions; if the restrictions are on the recorded deed, there is no way around it.

However, the HOA has restricted rentals in the complex; no owner who bought after 2010 can rent out their unit but instead must occupy it themselves.
