This of course is assuming they are not under a current lease agreement, if they are, you must abide by the terms of the previous landlords agreement until it expires at which point you could increase rents or have them sign a new lease with a new price.

The insurance would be a lot cheaper if it were just regular long term rentals (but the cash flow is higher on STVR so that's what I am doing with each unit as the LT tenants' leases expire.)Hope this is helpful- W

You can wait till the lease expires and draft up a new notice and ask which they would prefer.Just some different options to think about and that may benefit you.
