Many private investors feel better knowing a third party servicer will distribute the payments in accordance with the partial agreement.In my mind it would only be a benefit if: 1) it provided capital demands that the banks weren't meeting2) provided less expensive capital (lower rates/fees)3) required fewer guarantees (banks often want a personal guarantee when loaning against notes)4) provided capital fasterThat may or may not be the case when looking at partials with private versus bank funding.
